Dr. Pablo Tagle: Modern Methods to Cure What Ails You

By Krystal Krenek

Dr. Pablo Tagle III is providing the Rio Grande Valley with a modern take on health and wellbeing with his McAllen Chiropractic Wellness & Spa Center. This alternative chiropractic facility offers state of the art physical therapy to restore the body’s naturally functioning systems.

Dr. Pablo Tagle’s methods are early on the curve of preventative medicine in South Texas. His path through education came at a recent time when new technologies and the education behind them were freshly available to him. As a 2003 graduate of the University of Texas Pam American with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Tagle’s initial inclination was to pursue the field of dentistry. As a young athlete that suffered and learned from sports’ injuries in his past, he also considered entering medical school. But it was a friend in chiropractic school that opened his eyes and began his pursuit of the chiropractic philosophy, which believes that if you alleviate what ails the body, the body will heal itself. Tagle has always believed in a low level of medicinal influence on healing. Through his personal experiences and beliefs, he firmly states “the chiropractic field chose me.”

In 2007, Dr. Tagle graduated from the Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas after fulfilling his three year doctorate degree. He worked with an advanced, modern clinic in Dallas and then brought his education and knowledge back to his home in the Rio Grande Valley in 2008. He believes that the significant health issues facing Valley residents are underserved. Tagle’s energized, motivated approach to health and wellness is working to undo this south Texas trend as he is involved in educating the community. Dr. Tagle always knew he would return to the Valley after receiving the right tools in education and experience, and today he is in practice right next door to his father’s dentistry practice.

The advanced technologies applied in Tagle’s practice have not previously been readily available in the Valley. Tagle has implemented the use of the new Cold Laser that is just being tested out on the market. This is used to decrease chronic pain that can be found in the muscles, joints, nerves, back, and neck. Clients that have benefited from the use of the Cold Laser are finding that its use has reduced their candidacy for surgery. This alternative method to more invasive surgeries is producing results positive enough to keep some patients out of the operating room for procedures involving rotator cuffs, disc herniations, and knee injuries. The Cold Laser is also proving to alleviate headaches and speed the body’s natural healing processes after car accident injuries like whiplash.

The Chiropractic Wellness & Spa Center is also making a name for itself with its use of the Ion Cleanse Body Detox. This process removes harmful toxins from the body by drawing them out through the feet with a specialized electrical current. So many toxins can be found in our food supply and environment in general. The body’s systems cannot process all of these toxins to remove them, so they remain accumulated throughout the body. This can be cause for disease and system dysfunction. The Ion Cleanse Body Detox system is one method of preventative medicine in place in Dr. Tagle’s center, as he fights to reduce disease and even cancer by helping the body to function at its optimal health level.

The spa features Dr. Tagle’s facility provides include massage therapy, hot stone massage, and aromatherapy. For many people, massage is something familiar and already associated with comfort and wellness in their minds. This allows clients to walk through the doors of the Chiropractic Wellness & Spa Center to pursue an avenue of treatment they are accustomed to and then be introduced to the new technologies and methodologies that Dr. Tagle has to offer that can also greatly benefit their health and wellbeing. One of Dr. Tagle’s greatest rewards in his practice is to see his patients walk in with pain but walk out feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Another element in focus at Tagle’s Wellness Center is nutrition. After receiving his diploma from Parker College as an Applied Clinical Nutritionist, Dr. Tagle uses his sports background as a perfect avenue in consulting with patients on lifestyle changes that can dramatically improve the impacts of diabetes and weight gain. Not a believer in here-today-gone-tomorrow diets, Dr. Tagle impresses upon the need for lifestyle changes that can be maintained over time that produce the healthier outcomes his patients seek.

As if all of this was not enough, Dr. Pablo Tagle is investing even more into his business community. Just over a year ago, he was instrumental in beginning what is called the 22/40 Exchange, a non-profit organization made up of young professionals who aim to generate business for each other through structured networking. The 22/40 Exchange name is a representation of the target age range of the group, and the idea behind it is something Dr. Tagle discovered in the Dallas area. The Exchange meets twice a month: the second Thursday of each month for a luncheon and the 4th Thursday for an evening mixer. At each luncheon, a speaker provides a presentation to educate the group on their business to enable each other to be advocates for one another through referrals, networking, and word-of-mouth. Each evening mixer for members and their guests is a time to network, enjoy, and conduct business.

Additionally, 22/40 operates One-On-Ones, where two members get together to learn about each other’s businesses individually and to develop the kind of relationship that generates positive word-of-mouth and referrals. Their pursuance also includes giving back their community through fundraising efforts for other non-profit organizations like Easter Seals and March of Dimes.

This motivated group of young business professionals looks at the state of our nation’s difficult economy and takes action to ensure their roles in their respective markets thrive. It is the hope of the 22/40 Exchange that as more baby boomer generation business men and women retire, the next generation will have shown their motivation, enthusiasm, and readiness to take on larger roles in the world of business.
