The event includes a fast-paced auction, live music from the RiverRock Band, good food by Palacios Endowment, and great company.

“Here in Edinburg, funds raised by the ‘Steak’ In Your Community event make an impact on so many lives,” Walker Hernandez said.  “Funds raised make possible the youth programs and services in our community and provide access for youth in our community who need us the most. Youth have access to quality educational support through Science Technology Engineering & Math, and the money raised through ‘Steak’ In Your Community is helping further the vision of a world where kids have a safe place to learn and grow.”

“Steak” in Your Community will be held at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, 118 Paseo Del Prado, on Feb. 8. Tickets are $125 per person, with a limited number of tables available for $1,250 (seats 10). The board of directors would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to celebrate.
