IMAS hosts Pokémon Go Gym Takeover Night

Are you determined to be the very best – like no one ever was? Join the RGV Pokémon training community at the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) for the Gym Takeover Night they are hosting for trainers of all ages!

The different types of areas of IMAS (water, Dragons, grassland, rock, metal, and more) attract many Pokémon. The museum wants to help you catch them all, so be sure to explore all the areas of IMAS! Take a picture of your favorite Pokémon in the museum and tag IMAS on Instagram to enter to a drawing for four Director Passes. Explore the science behind Pokémon evolution and Pokémon types during the Pokémon hunt. Make your own Pokéball in the Ann Moore art studio! Take part in epic battles as your team works together to take over the IMAS Gym! Dress like your favorite Pokémon or trainer! “We love to see people be active and taking part in events with members of our community,” said Jennifer Kanyo, with Director of Education. “This event will be great for all ages.” The Gym Takeover Night will take place on August 4, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
