McAllen Convention Center Announces Fall Outdoor Concert Series


 The McAllen Convention Center and South Texas Community Arts Foundation will stage a free outdoor concert series featuring local, regional and touring musicians. The first concert will take place Saturday, October 12th and will showcase an Oktoberfest ambiance. The event is available to people of all ages.  Festival food and a variety of craft-brewed beer will be available for purchase. In addition to great entertainment, there will also be an exposition of a variety of arts and crafts from local artisans.

Headlining this month’s concert is Austin based band, The Night Mothers, with lead singer Alex Ruiz. Alex was the front man for Del Castillo and has recorded with artists such as Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Mana, and Los Lonely Boys.
