Cesar Sevilla Jr. of Mission, Texas an employee of Goldʼs Gym, was honored with the

Sevilla was presented this prestigious award during the 2011 Goldʼs Gym National
Convention held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jim Snow, president of
Goldʼs Gym International (GGI) and Mike Epstein, president of the Goldʼs Gym
Franchise Association (GGFA) selected Sevilla based on nominations from the National
Franchise Council.
“Cesar is a remarkable employee who truly goes above and beyond for members,” said
Snow. “It is an honor to have him a part of the Goldʼs Gym family. His positive attitude,
dedication to serving others and leadership skills are of high regard to the organization
and what we value most in each of our employees. Cesar has set the bar high for others
to follow suit and we are thrilled he has chosen Goldʼs Gym as his home of
employment.”
Having worked with Goldʼs Gym South Texas since the opening of its first gym in
Laredo, Texas in 2006, Sevilla has achieved many accomplishments both personally
and professionally as a Goldʼs Gym employee. He started his health and fitness journey

attentiveness and passion for group fitness, he has opened the doors to others who
may feel intimidated by classes by offering a fun and engaging atmosphere to get in
Recently, Cesar has been appointed to Regional Director of Fitness for Goldʼs Gym in
South Texas. This position was actually created specifically with Cesar in mind.
Esteban Garcia, Director of Operations for the South Texas Region states that “Cesar
has shown exemplary work ethic and brings a different energy to each gym. He is
innovative and his energy is contagious.” His additional job duties will be to oversee the
progress of each facility and ensure the success of his team by implementing programs
that cater to their respective markets.
Although Cesar is committed to the Goldʼs Gym family he is as committed to his
community and spreading the gift of wellness to all those he meets. He would like to
follow in his motherʼs footsteps and plans on giving back to the community by starting a
scholarship fund that focuses on assisting those who share the same passion for health
and fitness but may be otherwise unable to attend University.
From putting together innovative events for members, staying engaged with their
fitness routine to saving the life of a member after suffering a heart attack, Sevilla is a
standout employee worthy of this great award and of this recognition.
