RGVision Magazine is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a fundraising gala, and you’re invited!
Honor Roll: Teach For America Homecoming Gala will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at the McAllen Convention Center. RGVision reflects on a decade of coverage and service while commemorating remarkable education growth in the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. Four Rio Grande Valley education leaders will be honored for their contributions to the region over the past decade: Dr. Art Cavazos of Harlingen CISD, Dr. Daniel P. King of PSJA ISD, Dr. Shirley A. Reed of South Texas College, and Thomas Torkelson of IDEA Public Schools. The gala will feature special guests Martin Winchester and Elisa Villanueva Beard. The event is cocktail attire.
