Please join us on Thursday, January 3rd at 6:00 p.m. for “Wellness for the New Year: The Fooducator, Lebby Salinas at Quinta Mazatlán”. Another year has begun and what better way to kick off the new year than to start eating healthier? Luckily, here in McAllen we do have access to Farmers Markets that offer a better selection of organic foods, yes, even better than the produce offered at local supermarkets. Lebby Salinas will educate us on how to pick these healthy foods, inform us on the differences of foods offered at local farmer’s markets and local supermarkets and a nutritious dish will be made available after the presentation.
Lebby Salinas is a certified health coach, board certified holistic health practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, an ADHD coach and has a degree in home economics and minor in marketing. Her education and personal experiences have equipped her with extensive knowledge that she draws on to work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
The Thursday Evening Speaker Series takes place on Thursday evenings through May 2019 and is proudly sponsored by Texas Regional Bank. The program fee is $3 per person and no advance reservation is required. Quinta Mazatlán is located 600 Sunset in McAllen, one block south of La Plaza Mall on 10th Street.
